Recently restructured French supermarket chain Groupe Casino has appointed a veteran in-house leader and corporate and restructuring attorney as its new general counsel, weeks after its former top lawyer took a new job.

Béatrice Davourie started Monday, Casino said. She spent over nine years based in Brussels at Belgian supermarket chain Groupe Louis Delhaize, where she was group general counsel and general secretary of the board. Louis Delhaize owns, among other assets, the supermarket chains Cora and Match and Truffaut gardening centers.
