President Joe Biden on Wednesday nominated federal Magistrate Judge Embry Kidd to fill a vacancy on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.

Kidd has served as a magistrate judge in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida since 2019 and was a federal prosecutor in Florida and an associate at Williams & Connolly before joining the bench. After graduating from Yale Law School in 2008, Kidd clerked for Fourth Circuit Judge Roger Gregory.
